Drumcliffe Costumes

The DPO organizes fundraising to buy new dresses at a cost of over $600.00 each. We then allow you to rent them yearly. Please take good care of your dress so someone else may use it next year. Smelly, dirty dresses are NOT reusable. Absolutely NO eating in your dress. Put it on to dance and then remove it. Do not leave it on the ground to be stepped on at feiseanna.

Proper Care of Costumes
Please remember that Drumcliffe dresses are very expensive. Children should only drink water and never eat while wearing their costumes. Costumes should be stored flat in a dress bag that does not cause the skirt to buckle in at the sides. Please do not keep dresses hanging in a closet. The sheer weight of the dress will cause the shoulder and waist seams to pull apart and the dress will be ruined!

PaddyK tops should be worn at all times under school dresses. Go to http://www.paddyk.com/modest-t.htm to order.
Please help to teach our children to protect this important investment.

Wigs
Dancers in First Year Hard Shoe and up are eligible to wear wigs. Wigs are for girls in school dresses, not jumpers. Match your dancer's hair to the color wheel in the costume room. Then call the proper company with your choice and credit card number. Erin wigs are the type of wig Eddie has requested for older dancers, Alana wigs for younger ones. These can be purchased through www.theirishwiglady.com. There is also valuable information on that web site. Ask Marianne any questions you may have.
