Brittany O'Reillly awarded Music Scholarship. . .  
Cleveland Feis hosts music scholarship!

May, 2011- Cleveland, OH

At the 2011 Cleveland Feis, Brittany O'Reilly was awarded the $1,000 Sean Moore Vocal Scholarship.  To win the award Brittany had to sing two traditional Irish tunes in Gaelic of contrasting tempos. Below is a picture of her and the scholarship chairpersons.

Patrick Dimock wins Honorable Mention at National Level. . .  
Paper is recognized by Ladies AOH!

June, 2010--Syracuse/Binghamton

Patrick Dimock was recently recognized for a paper he had written entitled "The Role of Women in the 1916 Rebellion".  It won Honorable Mention for a Middle School Paper at the National Level of the Ladies AOH Irish History Writing Contest.  Congratulagtions to Patrick on a job well done!!

Emily Edwards wins First  Prize for AOL Irish Essay & Named Class Valedictorian. . .  
Drumcliffe Dancer Elected Class Valedictorian!


June, 2010--Syracuse/Binghamton
 
Emily Edwards won first prize for an essay she wrote for the AOL Irish Essay competition.   Emily was also recently elected as her class of 2010 valedictorian at Seton Catholic Central High School.  She has been awarded several scholarships and will be attending Stonybrook College this fall to begin studies in Biology/Premed.  Congratulations to Emily on her first place Essay and Valedictorian awards!




Nicholas Schwasman wins "Ambassador to Waterford Scholarship" . . .  
$1,000 Scholarship awarded to Drumcliffe dancer!


September, 2008--Rochester
 
Nich Schwasman was awarded the $1,000 "Ambassador to Waterford Scholarship" at the Rochester Irish Festival on Friday, September 5th.  Nich was one of 10 finalists who submitted an essay about "why I am proud to be irish". The finalists were then interviewed on their knowledge of Irish Culture and their Irish heritage.  Nich's knowledge of Irish culture comes from his involvement with Irish Dance and being around a family that is rich in Irish culture and experience.  As part of winning the scholarship he will be the "ambassador" for a full year !!!

Charcoal Drawing to hang in "Cannon Tunnel" in US Capitol over the next year!


June, 2008--Rochester

Sarah Rebholz, Wilson Graduate and Illinois Institute of Technology student was a winner in the 2008 Congressional Arts Competition.  The Drumcliffe dancer's drawing of "No Woman No Cry" will hang in the US capitol Cannon Tunnel over the next year.  What a great honor, Congratulations Sarah!!!
